Apple Fritters

Makes about 6 small fritters
Ingredients:
- 1 cup FLOUR
- 1 ½ teaspoon BAKING POWDER
- ½ teaspoon SALT
- 1 EGG (Egg replacer works, too)
- ½ cup MILK
- 1 ½ cup APPLE, peeled and chopped small (less is OK too)
Optional: Add a pinch of CINNAMON, NUTMEG AND/OR RAISENS
Cooking:
- 1-2 cup OIL for cooking
Drop large spoonful of mixed dough into hot oil. Fry for about 2 - 4 minutes, turning a few times until fritters are golden brown.
Icing:
- 1 cup POWDER SUGAR for icing
Make icing with powder sugar and a small amount of water or milk.
Drizzle, or roll over fritters.
EAT UP, they don’t keep well.
